
Michael Thiessmeier
Michael Thiessmeier is a distinguished security professional with more than 20 years of experience and a subject matter expert in cybersecurity, global security, risk management, compliance, emerging technologies and threats, and systems architecture and engineering.
Mr. Thiessmeier is the CISO at Enjoy Technology and the Chair of the U.S National AI and Cybersecurity Information Sharing and Analysis Organization.
Before joining Enjoy, Mr. Thiessmeier held numerous positions, including leading Technology and Security Risk Management at Oportun, a Silicon Valley Fintech, and managing the architecture, engineering, and support of all consumer-facing technology at Sony PlayStation during the PlayStation 4 launch.
Mr. Thiessmeier attended programs at many prestigious academic institutions, including Stanford, Cornell, MIT, and Harvard. He has served as delegate subject matter expert of the United States National Delegation and ISACA on various committees and working groups, including those of the ISO, IEEE, UN, NATO, and U.S NIST. In total, he has contributed to the development of more than 40 international standards. The work of Mr. Thiessmeier’s committee at ISO was recently awarded the Lawrence D. Eicher Leadership Award for excellence in technology.
Mr. Thiessmeier launched his own boutique consulting company, Allied Cyber Partners, which offers cybersecurity consulting and other related services to organizations in the U.S and allied nations. He serves on various advisory boards and has served as a volunteer leader at Team Rubicon, an NGO responding to natural disasters in the U.S and abroad.
